Generally, we say that each 4 fl. oz. bottle of tie dye can create up to 3 medium-sized adult T-shirts. This depends on the overall color coverage, as well as fabric’s saturation. We have noticed that beginner tie dyers and children tend to use more dye than what is needed, so we recommend you allocate one 4 fl. oz. bottle of dye per person when hosting events or parties.
