Valentine DIY with the T-shirt Design Kit

What you need:
- Light-colored T-shirt
- Cardboard cut to fit inside shirt
- Cup of water (to clean paintbrush)
- Tape
This Valentine DIY is so easy with a little help from the DIY T-shirt Design Kit! You don’t have to stick to just making a T-shirt, you can also make a tote bag or other item. The LED Light Pad has three different brightness settings to help you see patterns through various fabric thicknesses.
First choose your favorite Valentine-themed design and print it out. Make sure it’s the size you want on your T-shirt or other item. Tape your design in place on the LED Light Board to help hold it in place.
Turn on the LED Light Board and place inside the shirt to your liking. You can adjust the brightness by pressing the power button. Use the fabric marker included in your kit to trace the design onto the shirt.
Once you have your design traced, remove the LED Light Board and place a piece of cardboard inside of the shirt to keep the shirt stable, and to help prevent any paint from soaking through to the back side.
Use the paintbrush and fabric paints from your kit to fill in the designs with paint. The fabric paints will dry permanent and washable on the T-shirt!
Once you’ve finished painting this Valentine DIY, let it dry completely according to instructions. When it’s dry, it’s ready to wear!
